Blue Lantern is a bookselling company based in Sri Lanka’s largest city, Colombo. We sell a handpicked range of non-fiction and books on Sri Lanka. Our stock also includes books for children, school textbooks, law books, and self-development books. Our books originate from the UK, USA, Singapore, India, and Sri Lanka. We offer doorstep delivery to any part of Sri Lanka, and we also dispatch books worldwide.
Braving the vicissitudes of time, Blue Lantern is today managed by a fourth generation of booksellers. We can trace our antecedents in the trade back to the mid 1920s, when our great-grandfather opened his first bookshop on Main Street, Colombo, in what was Sri Lanka’s pre-independence era.
